We decided to partake in the Australia Day celebrations in Commonwealth Park. The girls loved the farm animals you could pat, and then they went on some overpriced rides, and we then sat and enjoyed some of the ABC kids show on centre stage with Benita from Play School, Postman Pat,Fifi and B1 and B2.
Sunday we enjoyed a day trip down the coast with some friends and family. It was a nice hot day for running around in the surf and building sandcastles.
Monday was a much quieter day spent around the house. We also set up tether tennis and Dave got out the rocket launcher thing he bought at Australian Geographic shop. The girls played with this for hours. We took it outside later in the day when it cooled down, and ended up having to extract the rockets off the roof with the ladder. Eliza thought the ladder was pretty cool, and was very upset when Daddy put it back in the shed.
