The Home Stretch

We are now safe and sound at home. We loved our holiday, but it is also good to be at home. We ate far too much in the 11 days we were on Oahu. Now we are at home, we are eating heaps of veggies - salad is just not the same! We had some fantastic meals -the serves were just huge. In the end we would buy entree size meals for lunch. One day we ordered sliders (an entree) and out came four little hamburgers!

The 11 days spent in Oahu saw so many different activities - the Honolulu Zoo, Aquarium, the Sea Life Park (not a patch on Sea World), The Polynesian Cultural Centre (pics still to be downloaded and posted), Beach, Sunset Cruise, Lu'au, a great caberet show called Society of Seven, Nature Tours, shopping, cocktails by the pool, lots of time at the beach and pool. Here are just a few pics of all but the last 3 days of our trip (our Nikon and Olympus cameras died on the same day - lucky Dave bought a new HD camcorder on one of his shopping jaunts (a mere $580 instead of $1400 you pay here!!!)

Cocktails by the pool - we loved the cocktails in the pineapple, Dave especially loved to eat the alcholic flavoured flesh after he finished his drink:

We also went on a nature tour - this paradise is beside the Pali highway and is where they filmed parts of Lost:
